Do You See?

I like mystery shots. But these aren't that mysterious once you know what you're looking for.
I saw this picture and I have no idea what they are about.
Then I knew. Sometimes, happiness is just taking pleasures in the simplest things we saw. If you can master that, then you are much the better for it.

Getting to Know

I can't believe that I have not scrutinzed this city I live it. I drove around downtown the other day and found out that there are many buildings that are new to me. This one fascinates me because it looks beautiful. I don't know its name.

There are going to be high-rise condos in this area of downtown. The prices are astounding at over 350 thousand each unit. Buildings are going up fast and furious. I always thought of downtown as dangerous and a place to stay after dark. Now, there's going to be many people living there in their high rise apartments. Mind-boggling.

Are You Getting Annoying Calls?

Are you getting annoying calls in your cell phone? I bought a prepaid cell phone and the single most annoying thing it has is the numerous calls I get. I try to only answer the calls which are on my phone book, but sometimes, I forget. It sucks up my minute. I get over ten different numbers a day. Just in case some of those numbers are from the people I know, I am very glad to find out about Reverse Cell Phone Lookup. It used to be impossible to get cell phone number information. This is a good start.

What I should have done first thing is put my number in "No Call List Information". That would probably cut my annoying calls in half. I can still do it, it will take effect in 30 days on most phone. Sometimes, it won't work, but then, you can report each number you get. Isn't technology great?

Reverse Phone Lookup Service

"No Call List" . This is the best defense against getting unwanted call. I find it annoying that I have to pay extra 8 dollars a month to block my phone number because of telemarketers. They always seem to call at the most inconvinient time. But, if the somehow end up with your phone, there's a Reverse Phone Lookups. I don't know about you, but I really like getting to know the number that shows up on my caller ID. Especially the hang ups. Those annoy me the most. Thank goodness for this new technology, I can at least figure out where a call is coming from.

Puppies

Why are puppies so cute? They're so irresistible! I went to adopt one, and came home with three. I had forgotten that puppies are baby animals. They poop and pee just about every where. Why, oh why didn't I think of this when I pick up the cute little critters? They're teething too...on my favorite shoes, and books, and my table legs. They're still cute with their sharp little teeth.

Tyra's Stalker

Looks like Tyra Bank's stalker is caught. It can't be fun to have someone stalking you.

I can't decide if Tyra's hot or not. I mean when she's doing that talk show trying hard to be the next Oprah, she's not. Pretty I mean. On the other hand, she is a model for Victoria's Secret for ages...so she much be pretty. My jury's still out on that one. This picture though, she's beautiful.

Don't Be a Dog

Okay, that title is way more interesting that what I wanted to say. Our dog, Haiku, loves to slobber all over anyone unlucky enough to be within his licking range. She doesn't like to bath so much. The stink...oh the stink! It's too cold to give her a bath as she doesn't like to be inside the house. I can't wait for warmer weather, if only to make my dog smell nice. She's a great dog though, just shy of hardwoord floors. She slides on it.

♥ Special Prizes at Audible -TODAY ONLY

Right now, there's a 100 audible unabridged audio for only 4.95 each. That's a great price for books. Audible is one of the leading sources of audio books for iPod. I was actually a member before I have any iPod, but then I found that it was much easier to get the audio books CD at the library. Now that I have an iPod again, I might give them a try again. It takes time to put audio CD in my computer so I can then put it in my iPod. Nope, audible's not paying me anything for this post...just passing along the savings.

What Other TV Series Out There?

I used to think it's a total waste of time to watch TV. I cannot fathom why anyone would pick TV if they can pick a good book instead? But then, I forgot to factor in the era I grew up in. We only have two channels. Channel 12 and Channel 5. It also seem like majority of the time, they're showing The 700 Club. It's the most boring show ever, and I turned to books. Then, I accidentally watched an episode of HOUSE, MD. Wow! That's how people get sucked into movies. They stumble into fabulous series.

So, any body out there...tell me which TV series I should watch next. I've watched LOST, ALIAS, MONK, and the CSIs. Any recommendation?

So Much Fun

My husband and I have so much fun making this video below. It just took ages trying to figure out video editing, which I never did figure out. I think I need to research which one to use. There's muvee maker, but it takes away the audio of the video, and they insist I make a cartoon out of my video. There's no 'normal, boring' settings. Just funky ones like oldies, and comedy and romance filled with flying hearts.

It's good to find out about this things because it's not like I have anything else to waste my time over. I've figure out CSS styling, some, so next up is video. Before I know it, I'll be digi-scrappping.

Obsessed with Cleaning

Today, I let two orders expired. Not deliberately, but it happened. It happened because I was cleaning my refrigerator from top to bottom. It's really pretty and orderly in there, I just want to live in my ref. It took me most morning because I was cooking while cleaning and baking too. That's me, multitasker extraordinaire.

Weight Watching

I bet you're thinking about that fantastic program which helps me lost weight. In my case, I haven't attended yet. I want to, but there's no time. Not if I want to read my books. Reading is one of my favorite thing to do. So, as of today, weight watching means just that. Watching my weight climb up.

Weather....

It's all freezing again. I haven't seen snow, but I bet it's coming up next. Right around now, I'd love to be sitting in a warm beach resort all sweaty. The only time I can get to sweat now is if I leave this chair and start scrubbing my floor. Yep, from kitchen to garage. Can you think of any other way to sweat while it's freezing outside?

I ♥ Fall

I took this picture with my 2.0 MP phone camera. Isn't it great? For a 2 MP phone camera that is. I was driving along, all busy about life, when I noticed it's fall. I can't believe I almost missed it. All those yellow and orange and countless shades of browns just makes for such a beautiful scenery. Yes, fall means cleaning up the leaves off the grown and all that, but it's also beautiful. I can delay cleaning up the leaves in my yard. I should roll around in it a couple of times, and when I'm done, I can just leave it for mulch for the spring. Isn't nature great?

Holidays at the Mall

Have you noticed that each holiday season, the mall gets so crowded. You'd think with the Season of giving and joy, people will be a whole lot nicer...not! They tend ot shove and glared at each other. Being inside a mall during the holidays in a dreadful thing. The music is nice and jolly, and the people are stressed and sullen. People should remember that it's the holidays. Try not to glare so much. If you're naturally glary, you might consider staying at home until you're in a better mood.

I'm Looking Forward to Holiday Movies

I just love it when Hollywood gets the Fairy Tale attack. The movie listed below are from USmagazine.com. I'm looking forward to seeing the following movie below. Some of them because I like McDreamy...though the longer I look at him, I see that he's aging. Every body does it. Still, he's sexy, don't you think?

Enchanted with Patrick Dempsey & Amy Adams on Nov. 21.
This classic Disney fairy tale, combining live action with animation, finds an idealistic princess (Adams, 33) falling for a jaded Manhattan divorce attorney (Dempsey, 41). Producer Barry Josephson tells Us: "He influences her with logic and guile while she influences him by opening up his heart."

I'm not sure about this one below, but mainly because the preview doesn't do anything for me.

Walk Hard: Jenna Fischer & John C. Reilly (Dec. 21)
Despite a pickup-truck load of failings - from drug addiction to serial philandering - rock star Dewey Cox (Reilly, 42) is ultimately saved by the love of his longtime backup singer (Fischer, 33). Fischer tells Us: "It's a satire of musical biopics like Walk the Line."

I am so watching this movie. I have read the book and wanted to see how this would turn out.

P.S. I Love You: Hilary Swank & Harry Connick Jr. (Dec. 21)
Though Holly (Swank, 33) has lost the love-of-her-life hubby, he returns to her in a series of letter he penned before passing away - which inspire her to find love again with a bartender (Connick, 40) who works for her mom. Producer Wendy Finerman tells Us: "It was the first time Hilary got to look pretty in a while - and not have to be so tough."

I'm watching this one because I like Heath in movies. Have you seen Knight's Tale? If you haven't, well, get off your butt and see it. It's so worth your time.

I'm Not There: Heath Ledger & Charlotte Gainsbough (Nov. 21)
It is me, babe! In this Bob Dylan biopic, Ledger, 28, plays the folk legend during his early Greenwich Village days, falling for a politically active French beauty (Gainsbough, 36). "They're beautiful together physically," director Todd Haynes tells Us. "But they also evoke something literate and optimistic."

I am so LOST!

I just started watching LOST this year. Actually, I saw the first episode last Sunday and promptly fell in love with it. I am lost in LOST.

I like that it doesn't feel like a TV series when I am watching it. I like lost for Jack's character. Then there's Kate and Sawyer. I have to admit, I like my shows to be peopled with a bunch of good-looking people. And why not, it's my entertainment.

Yep, it's why I watch TV show.

Square Plates

At my local grocery store one day, I found a square plate. It was on the clearance bin. IT was sold for 3 dollars. I thought, what a great deal! I bought the last three. The problem is, having only 3 is not nearly enough! It's really beautiful! I only wanted dinner plates. There's already too many plates in my kitchen. Yesterday, I found the rest, and I was so tempted to by the soup bowl and the serving platters too...but hey, I am on budget, so I gotta save more before getting the rest of it.

Movies

I really want to see Elizabeth the Golden Years. The preview looks wonderful. I like the first one called Elizabeth. I just realized they cannot call the movie, Elizabeth The Second because that would make it a whole new different queen.

I am looking forward to it. I'd rather see it in big screen, but I don't mind renting the DVD if I missed the big screen. However, I would prefer the big screen because there's just nothing like it.
