Looking At the Sky on Friday

My daughter and I drove to Rockwall yesterday. It's a 2 hour round trip. We had such fun checking out the country. Yes, it's only 30 miles away from the city, but it's a whole new world out there.

There's a big lake between Dallas and Rockwall. These are the skies out there yesterday. It's a bit cloudy, no rain. It's thundering right now though. Ugh, my windshield could use some cleaning!

Sky Watch Friday

I love sky watching. Even if I can't really play along with the picture meme, I still take them. It's so pleasant to catch a good one. Have you tried playing with sky watch meme?

Sky Watch Friday

This is my sky watch this week. This picture was taken a while back, but I like the memories that came with it. Actually, that was my first thought, and then I looked again and I realized, I have no idea which memories came with it. I know it's something pleasant, but I can't remember exactly what. Isn't it strange when you feel like there should be something pleasant and happy associated with something, and then when it comes right down to it, it isn't there. Funny!

SKy Watch

This is a very late sky watch picture. Taken along the highway while trying not to have an accident. This is my sky. It's getting so cold, I thought I'd see grey skies, but nope. It's as blue as ever. I'm listening to Tess D'Uberville by Thomas Hardy. I'm usually not into old, moldering book, but the reader is pleasant. The book opens with an old man named John meeting a vicar who always calls him Sir John. This old man was never a knight. This evening, he finally asked the vicar why the 'sir'.

Sky Watch

I like clouds like this. My husband's handy cell phone took this picture.Click on the picture for larger image. These clouds reminds me of crows flying. Is that a murder of crows? Or is it a flock of crows? I'm not sure which is it.

Sky Watch

This is the sky from Las Vegas. I go this picture from his camera. I'd love to go walking here.

This my skyline on a bridge going to I75. I like the moon was so round and bright. I wish I had one of those powerful lenses that could take a closer look at that moon then.

And this, my husband took it for me.

We're on our way to Angel Island when we took this picture.

Sky Watch: Labor Day

Labor day was spent swimming at my friends house. We dined on thick and juicy ribeye steak and corn. We had so much fun. Three hours in the water means prune skin. What a fun day.

Sky Watch: Just Because

Now I know my husband thinks about me even when he's busy working.

It gives me that warm fuzzy feeling.

It's very nice. He takes tons of pictures for me. Now, that's what I call love.

Sky Watch: Ballooning

Have you ever been ballooning?

My husband was driving around Coppell when he saw about half-a-dozen balloon in the sky.

He followed some of them. See this one going down near the treetops.

Then it's about to land...this truck got in they way of my picture!

I've never been, but I sure would like to!

Sky Watch Friday: Six Flags Vallejo

It's very amazing in California. The sky is blue and cloudless most of the time. Awesome! If you don't believe me, take a look at those sky over Six Flags? Do you see any clouds?

Sky on the way to Six Flags.

Sky Watch Friday: Baby's Photography

This is what happens when a 2-year old gets hold of a camera. The picture is combination of his little fingers. Some are smudges he'd left on the lense since he was also eating PB&J sandwich.

You can see his digits here.
Here, I thought he'd capture the sky very well despite all the smudges. I think I'm getting him his own digital camera.
