I Want More of These Too

I noticed these growing in my yard. It is so beautiful, I can't resist taking many pictures of it. I do not know its name, but I want more of these. It's very attractive flowers. Does it come from packet of seeds at the store? If you happen to know, I'd love to know the name of this plant.

They Say It's Weed

But isn't weed defined as something unwanted? Well, I want these. I don't want to mow this. Look at the tiny beautiful flowers. Of course, you have to put your face right next to the ground to appreciate it, but that's the beauty of it. It's subtle. It's growing valiantly. I want it. It's not weed to me.

Killer Plant

I think this is one of the killer plant Home Depot sell. I don't know exactly how vicious this is, or how it's deadly, but that's what the label said. Or maybe not. I totally forget what's it called. I remember almost buying it, but then, I have read enough horror stories, or maybe remember enough people-eating-plant stories my mother told me, I practically ran away from it. It's scary. What if it ate the wrong person?

Roses

I find that I like gardening. I thought it's unpleasant to be touching dirt, but I find myself lost in it for hours on it. Then I see my flowers bloom, and there's nothing like it. It's feels very good indeed. I'm so happy with my garden...or the promise of one.

Tart

I have this tree in my yard that bears fruit similar to a raspeberry. I was confused about it for the longest time because it's a tree. I went to google and asked around for a berry looking tree. I found an answer as usual. It's a Mulberry tree. I was confused because the famous children song goes like these:

All around the mulberry bush
the monkey chase the weasel...

It didn't say tree! Anyway, I have a mulberry tree in my yard.

Looking Forward to Blooms

When we moved, I missed my tea roses. They were a hardy bunch. In fact, I would forget to water them for weeks at a time, and yet, they'd bloom three times a year. It's planted right by my front door, a dozen of them, all in a row.

They were my mother's legacy for working at Tom Thumb. The discarded dying plants of the floral shop. Some she's purchased for a dollar or two. I love those roses, but they're not mine anymore.

My husband bought me a rose plant from SAMS. And in just less than 6 weeks, look at the buds I am getting! I'm looking forward to when they bloom. There were two roses plant, but the other one died.

Spring Flowers!

I am so tickled, my flowers are blooming. My kids love it. I do know what people now meant when they say that roses then to get sick. See the black spots on the leaves?
